Gamay, Hills Range, 2022

A light, juicy, violet-laced blackberry-styled Gamay with a spine of clean, vitalising acidity. From a single vineyard on well-drained clay with shale fragments overlying a schist rock bed. Fermented with 30% whole bunches, pigeage carried out only by hand, and raised in 15% new French oak.
