Fermented and aged in foudres and barriques, 20 percent new oak. A Chardonnay from Morey St Denis is a rare thing, the vast majority of the commune being planted with Pinot Noir, but it can be exceptional, as this regularly is. A vineyard located just above Bonnes Mares, En la Rue de Vergy is planted on poor, rocky limestone soils.
