    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Quite simply the most elegant and refined Dominode we have ever tasted. Floral fruit blossom, sweet red berry and damson flavours. We have come to expect depth, spice, complexity and structure from this wine over the years, all of which this has aplenty, but what marks the 2015 out as special is its heightened level of style and charm. Brilliant. A legendary Savigny parcel of extremely old vines many of which were planted back in 1902.

    89-92/100
    Stephen Tanzer,
    Vinous
(no hail or frost here in 2015, according to Clair): Medium red. Musky, deeply pitched aromas of raspberry, strawberry and smoky, flinty minerality. Quite taut in the early going, even a bit tough, and not showing the vintage's fleshy side today. But this firmly structured wine finishes with palate-stimulating salinity and subtle length. I would not be surprised if this eventually merited a rating at the top end of my projected range.
