2020 - 2037justerini & brooks tasting note
More sweetness of fruit here than with the Puligny Les Caillerets. An exotic fruit character together with a salted grapefruit note makes a great combination. Fleshy and a little backward to begin with but certainly deep and layered. Powerful and surly, this has a lot going on but will need time to unwind. From behind Pougets, a mid slope, south-south-east facing vineyard of 35 years-old, aged in a mixture of small barriques and larger demi-muids barrels to minimise oak influence.
