Open, fragrant and silky. Full-bodied and dark fruited yet so round. You can feel the structure, but the tannins are silky and sit in the background. Voluptuous and precise at the same time, a plethora of fruit - loganberry, tayberry and bramble with a plummy sweetness. A classy Vosne meets Nuits type of wine. Boudots, well situated next to Vosne-Romanée Malconsorts, produces some of the bigger, richer and broader style of Nuits whilst keeping a silky texture.
