Charming, long and svelte; very berryish, lithe and velvety, fragrant ripe Autumn raspberry, loganberry and strawberry fruit with a red cherry freshness, set in a gently gripping tannic structure. Frank’s Clos du Chapitre, tends to be a finer, more pliable and expressive style of Aloxe than the classic vineyards such as Fournières and Vercots, thanks in part to the large chalk and limestone content of its soils.
