Full of joy: a beautifully open, characterful Chassagne. Fresh and well balanced to boot. Typical Gagnard Chassagne flavours of butter, honey and fleshy ripe stone fruit yet with a juicy acidity and hint of Sicilian lemon to balance. Finishing on more savoury dry stone characteristics. A vineyard located at the northern edge of the village, on the Saint-Aubin side towards the bottom of the hill. The slope is gentle but enough to ensure good drainage; the soil is light clay mixed with iron rich pebbles.
