Floral, graceful and silky. Flowing and charming. With soft skinned red fruits, wildflower complexity and a certain panache. Lovely texture. A middle weight Nuits with a dash of Vosne about it. Lacy finish. A Nuits Premier Cru vineyard on the Vosne side of the appellation and thus usually one of the silkier and lighter wines of the Chevillon cellar.

The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Chaignots is very pretty, bursting with aromas of red berries, coniferous forest floor, peonies and spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with lively acids and beautifully refined tannins, it will offer a broad drinking window.
