A mix of reasonably deep clay and limestone soils, up on the plateau, adjacent to Dames Huguette, this is loaded with bittersweet wild plum notes and a sense of rosehip and redcurrant snap. Nice lifting energy and cleansing mineral notes on the finish. ?

The 2024 Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Aux Chaumes veers more towards red fruit on the nose compared to the regular bottling, with lively raspberry and wild strawberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins, just a light veneer of wood tannins to be subsumed, quite serious towards the tannic finish that will require a couple of years to soften.
