Vosne Romanée, 2013
justerini & brooks tasting note
Gripping, dense forest berry, earth and spice characteristics. Mouthfilling, powerful and sturdy Vosne villages with a good level of complexity. Aged in 50% new oak barrels originating from three parcels of vines aged between 30 and 60 years old.

Good dark red. Musky aromas of redcurrant and smoky minerality. The tightly wound palate conveys an attractive restrained sweetness, with spice and herb notes adding complexity to the red fruit flavors. Most impressive today on the back end, which features serious mouth-saturating, dusty tannins, resounding saline minerality and very good length. Turned a touch dry in the glass.
