Côte Rôtie, La Landonne, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
A darker-fruited expression, with a more serious tannic spine, evident salinity, black and white pepper, and longer-term potential. An extremely steep, schist-rich site, 100% fermented with whole bunches and aged in large demi-muid casks, a maximum of 10% of which are new.

The classy 2024 Côte-Rôtie La Landonne first lifts with ripe blackberry, cold smoke, pencil shavings and stemmy accents. Medium-bodied and racy, the 2024 showcases notable elegant austerity at this youthful stage, winding down with spicy tones on the long finish.
