Barolo, Rocche dell'Annunziata, 2021
justerini & brooks tasting note
Rocche is typically broader and fuller with a riper, more lavish bouquet. Powerful but controlled with a ripe integrated acidity, with touches of grated cocoa and vanilla on the finish. Long and sweeping, finishing floral and complex. From two parcels south and southeast facing within one of the region’s great vineyards, situated in the Annunziata sub zone of La Morra. Just 3,000 bottles were produced.
