A great Castiglione vineyard, planted on a mixture of sand and clay, the same vineyard as Scavino’s Bric dël Fiasc but named using the standard Italian dialect as opposed to that of Piedmont. The vines were planted by Luigi Scavino's father 65 years ago. Aged in large Slavonian oak ‘botti’ and barriques with less than 20% new oak for 24 months. A cuvée that Azelia first bottled up separately in 1978.
