A concentrated Clos de Jeu, powerful whilst retaining its characteristic voluptuous, rounded nature. Smooth, dark fruit of cherry, sloe and damson caress the palate with a cashmere touch. Sensual, joyful and generous. A superb parcel, sitting just above the Chateau planted on poor soils that are rich in limestone. Fermented with a third whole-bunches.

Intense and perfumed, the 2018 Marsannay Clos de Jeu bursts with aromas of wild blueberries, blackberries, rose petals, blood orange, violets and cinnamon. Vinified with entirely whole clusters, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with powdery tannins, lively acids and a long, sapid finish.
