Marsannay, Clos de Jeu, 2022

A typically floral, bright and red fruited Clos de Jeu that is lithe, caressing and full of aromatic charm. Silky and stylish, with a seductive texture and polished tannins, this comes from a superb parcel, sitting just above the Chateau planted on poor, hard soils that are rich in limestone. The cuvee is composed of two plots: the older, with 60-year-old vines, is whole bunch fermented, while the younger plot, at 25 years old, is destemmed.
