Always a more precocious vineyard, here the texture is one of melting very supple fruit, delicate and pretty with plenty of charm and life. Red fruits to the fore. Should be gorgeous from about three years out. Beautiful balance here and some decent length too. Good plus. A superb parcel, sitting just above the Chateau planted on poor, hard soils that are rich in limestone. The oldest vines here are 60 years old, the youngest 20.
