Génot Boulanger
Corton, Les Combes, Grand Cru, 2017
justerini & brooks tasting note
A wine that offers a full sensual experience. Corton with a bit of crunch to it and bursting with fresh, juicy fruit. Predominantly red fruit in profile, the palate exhibiting notes of wild strawberry and red cherry, with a background note of forest floor. Full of fruit and energy, yet a remarkably fine and measured Corton. A 0.47 ha parcel of 35 year-old vines planted in the Les Combe lieu-dit, a south-west facing site planted on red clay soils.
