    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

At first glance this is much more open and expressive than usual without losing any of its habitual clarity, grip or raciness. Beguiling, floral small berry and cherry fruit character. Ripe fresh and almost chiselled in structure but generous enough to show what great potential there is. One of the best Véroilles for a long time. Véroilles is one of Chambolle’s highest Crus, along with Fuées, adjacent to Bonnes-Mares, often producing very intense, racy and tight-knit wines.

Full medium red. Sexy aromas of wild red berries, crushed rock, licorice, chestnut and minerals, plus an intriguing suggestion of white fruits. Very ripe but juicy, precise and backward, showing superb inner-mouth tension to its flavors of maraschino cherry, red berries and mint. The broad finish features noble tannins.
