    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Floral hints of violet and dark fruit flavours, there is a distinctive richness and opulence to this. Crushed bramble and loganberry fruit flavours with a grounding, mineral quality. Dense, gripping, ripe but extremely fresh fruit. More than a passing resemblance to its neighbour, Bonnes-Mares. Véroilles is one of Chambolle’s highest Crus, along with Fuées, adjacent to Bonnes-Mares. It also has denser soils that its neighbouring vineyards often producing very intense, mineral but powerful and compact wines.

Bright medium red. Vibrant nose offers dark fruits, menthol and smoky minerality. Silky and thick but with outstanding intensity and almost painful energy to its flavors of raspberry, crushed rock and mint lifted by a treble note of blood orange. Youthfully reticent but impressively dense, conveying sappy energy without any tart edges. Has the strength of material to fully enrobe its firm, ripe tannins. Wonderful energy and extract here.
