Nuits St Georges, Les Bousselots, 1er Cru, 2013
Well-balanced and smooth Nuits. Fleshy, suave and mid-weight in profile, juicy victoria plum and forest berry fruit with hints of dark chocolate. Refreshing but not too racy, the acidity is well covered by plenty of velvety, voluptuous fruit. Bousselots is from the Vosne side of the Nuits commune and tends to produce silky, textured Nuits-St.-Georges.

Bright, full red. High-toned aromas of red fruits, mocha and earth, lifted by a floral note. A step up in vinosity and energy from the Chaignots, showing an attractive sugar/acid balance to its juicy purple fruit flavors. Finishes with sweet tannins and good length and floral lift.
