Here there’s more concentration and sheer depth of fruit than in Oliver’s other fuder Auslese. It is simply a step up in all directions. A wine of great purity, depth and length, finishing with cleansing salty minerality. Lovely balance and pitch here, weighted like a fine knife, complex but composed and full of precise persistent flavour.
