Langhe

The rolling hills of the Langhe are a key feature for anyone looking to understand the incredible wines of Northern Italy. Whilst the names of Barolo and Barbaresco stand out, the amazing diversity of the Langhe is what makes it such an exciting region. The wines can be white, red or rosato, and can be produced from a plethora of grape varieties; Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Freisa, Barbera and Nascetta to name a few. Azelia Elio Altare, Luigi Oddero, Roberto Voerzio, Roagna and Paolo Scavino all make superlative wines under the Langhe label, including many grander wines that have been declassified to sit under the Langhe.
