Fruity with a touch more depth of fruit than the 2022 displayed at this time. This is a big hearted Digoine, with ripe cherry fruit, chewy tannins and a little core of earth below the fruit. A bright and bold Bourgogne, something of a rough diamond, from a cool terroir that is often the last to be harvested before the Aligote comes in. “I’m looking for the memory of the sea that was here millions of years ago” Pierre told us, remarking that the name Digone is a very old world meaning a place where we celebrate the qualities of water. Fermented with 40% whole cluster.
