Fresh, brooding crunchy forest berry fruit, dense sweet fruit with a twist of freshness and minerality. Long, suave and creamy on the finish with faint touches of fruit liqueur. A charming and seductive Gevrey. A first rate Gevrey Premier Cru vineyard high up on the slope next door to Clos St Jacques, whilst there is a similar aromatic quality to the wines of its neighbour, the taste profile is very different, with more suave, rounder fruit coming thanks to the white clay soils found here.
