    92/100
    Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
One of the highest Cabernet Franc wines in the appellation even back in 2005, this opens up with raspberry leaf and violet notes, nuanced summer berries, dark chocolate, tobacco and smoked sandalwood. Good quality, with tannic frame and reach. Soft on the finish, ready to drink, highly enjoyable. Harvest September 14 to 22, 3.9ph, 70% new oak.

    Château Beauregard

Origninally established in the 11th centruy by Maltese Knights, Beauregard has undergone a small revival since the purchase of the Château in 1991 by Foncier Vignobles. The revival has seen investment in new barrels, winery technology and most importantly in the clay and gravel based vineyards, where a careful replanting and selection massale of their Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines has taken place.
