Professor Denis Dubourdieu's home estate has produced yet another outstanding effort. A humble Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux, this wine shows a class and refinement well above its humble appellation. Lots of wood notes and ambition. The palate is packed with sweet dark fruits, crème de mûre, mulberry and spice. There is real lift and concentration; long and serious; this should be excellent in years to come.
