    Roagna's 2004 Barbaresco Crichët Pajè is every bit as impressive as it was upon release, if not moreso. Still vibrant and explosive, the 2004 soars from the glass with a stunning bouquet redolent of crushed berry fruit, rose petal, tar, lavender and menthol. The 2004 is fabulous today. Amazingly it might still need a few years in bottle to be accessible.
