A typical Gevrey in the sense that it is a wine of breadth and body. Substantial and hearty but such beautiful, compelling fruit to go with it. Flavours of strawberry, redcurrant and cherry overlaying a soft, creamy texture. A great success. Situated just under Chapelle Chambertin, where the soils are typically "Gevrey" and clay dominated.
