Appellation: Champagne
Grape Variety: Chardonnay/Pinot Noir

Tradition, Grand Cru, Brut, NV

Tasting Note:

Salty fresh and with lovely russet apple floral notes born aloft on salty almost isotonic minerality. A really fine line in stoniness and nerve brings the richer fruit notes to live with great finesse and detail - white flowers, chalk, lemon zest and raspberry. Real class this for an NV, though of course it’s not your average NV. Produced entirely from grand cru fruit and bottled after four years sur lie, this cuvee continues to gain in finesse, without any sacrifice to character and expressiveness of the Egly style. The base vintage for this bottling was 2016, disgorged in July 2021 after 48 months sur lie. Dosage 2 grams per litre.
