Tasting Note:

More mineral and energetic than the sweet and floral Bricco Fiasco. Lifted bright red fruits mixed with cleansing savoury elements. Wild strawberry fruit infused with violet and offset by more savoury notes of chalk and salt. The refreshing, palate-cleaning minerality marries well to the ripe, polished Azelia style. From a prime south and south west facing 55 year old plot in the Serralunga d'Alba commune planted on white clay and limestone soils. Aged in the traditional way, for 28 months in large slavonian oak botti.
