Tasting Note:

More forthright and forceful than usual, loaded with wild berry notes of sloe, bilberry and bramble. Structured, dense and tannic but with a velvety quality to it. Tightly-clenched and not giving much away at the moment but full of strength and deeply concentrated. One of Chambolle’s highest Premier Crus vineyards, Ghislaine’s parcel is over 75 years old and produces intense, deeply complex and very refined wines.
