Tasting Note:

A captivating nose that combines crisply mineral, gunflint and struck match aromas with enticing roasted nut, sesame and lemon zest. As it hits the palate, sparks of acidity illuminate a concentrated, intense and flinty palate. Kudos to Jeff Brinkman and his team as this this plays all our favourite Chardonnay notes to perfection; salty smoky reductive notes layered over crystalline fruit on a supple structure with beautifully polished edges. This is a Chardonnay, up there with the best; intense, complex layered and yet measured. Wonderful stuff.
