A touch of smoke frames pungent lemon pith aromas, corseted, stony flavours that release into melon and fine grapefruit. You can see Julian Hubers love for taut restrained lightly reductive Chardonnay here, while the Weisserburgunder provides a backdrop of white fleshed fruits and fine spice. A really interesting blend, at once smoky, fruity and racy.
