Tasting Note:

Rocche di Castiglione is the dominant part of this blend and it shows with its high-toned fresh red fruit aromatics. Intense, crisp fruit, less oak spice notes than some of the other Scavino wines and more tight-knit red berry fruit. Bright, complex and long flavours. A blend of three top Crus, Cannubi, Rocche and Bric del Fiasc, aged the same way as all of the other wines, for a year in barriques and a year in large oak ‘botti’.
