Tasting Note:

Exquisitely fine and vital red fruits, the most refined and energetic of the Vietti Crus. Delicate yet intense, fresh yet sweetly fragrant. Exhibiting Small salt-infused alpine strawberry and raspberry fruit that is lifting and moreish on the haunting finish. A beauty. Vietti's flagship vineyard Rocche, from the Castiglione commune, is planted on blue clay soils and faces south east. It is one of the legendary cuvees in Piedmont and was one of the very first single Cru Barolos to be bottled and sold, back in 1961. Unfortunately rarely more than 3000 bottles are produced every year.
