Pinot Noir, Vrede, Hemel en Aarde, 2020

1 case, 1 bottle
£28.33 per bottle

Tasting Note:

Lovely fine lifted sweet red fruits, so pretty and charming with pressed flowers, plums and just a touch of truffle and cocoa. Pliant on the palate but with a good bass note too, the acidity is gentle but present, there is a seamless balance and open-hearted quality to this. Raised for 11 months in 25% new oak and held back in bottle before release. A north-east facing slope in the lower Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, the soils are predominantly stony, clay-rich Bokkeveld shale bringing texture and complexity.
