Tasting Note:

Cami Pesseroles is located off an ancient path between Gratallops and Porrera in a valley called Pesseroles (the name relates to an old traveller’s path, much like Pezerolles in Burgundy). A 100% very old vine Carignan cuvée from steep, sheer slate heavy slopes, it is both richer and more brooding than either of the other two Crus displaying sweet inky fruit on the nose, deeply pitched dark cherry, mulberry and sweet mineral notes. On the palate brighter red fruits, cassis, tobacco and something elemental all come together on a powerful but finely polished tannic spine; dark, vibrant and hugely commanding. Stunning.
