True to Juffer Sonnenuhr form this sparkles with delicate, slatey minerality, refined and fragile, with green apple, jasmine, white peach notes all etched into its surface. So pure and focussed, this simply doesn’t taste of botrytis - it just tastes intense. A stunner, long and laser-like.

Rich golden yellow. Seductive scents of apple blossom, white raisin and quince are given depth by a hint of honeyed botrytis. Rich, candied papaya fruit displays a velvety texture but minty acidity keeps the palate fresh. Dense yet light on its feet, with mineral salts providing spice on a very long, elegant finish. This Riesling is just plain gorgeous and clearly one of the finest Ausleses of the vintage.
