    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

More taciturn than the Tufera, but even more intense. Creamy yellow fruit gripped by a crisp tannic and citrus note. There is so much dry extract and intensity here, overlaying an unctuous body, which suggests good ageing potential. A superior villages. Brilliant. A blend of seven parcels vinified separately then aged in 10% new oak, more than a third comes from Les Meix, one of the top lieu-dit in Puligny.

    Critic Reviews

The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village has turned out nicely, exhibiting aromas of crisp white peach, orange oil, spring blossom and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and layered palate. Lively and precise, with chalky structuring extract, it should offer a broad drinking window.

A blend of 12 parcels with a large plot in Les Meix, the Puligny-Montrachet Village has a slightly backward but well defined granitic nose. The palate is well balanced with Clementine and touches of ginger, quite vibrant and certainly concentrated for a Village Puligny. Good persistency here - this comes recommended.
