Tasting Note:

The artist formerly known as Brauneberger Riesling, Oliver decided as of 2019 to put its true single vineyard origin on the label, namely the fine blue slate Juffer, which produces playful, animated Rieslings. Notes of lemon zest, kiwi, ripe red apple and lacy, lavender-accented floral notes, the 2020 is at once light, juicy and ripe; an animated, playful Kabinett built on gentle acidity and succulent fruit flavours. 45g/l residual sugar and 8.5% ABV. In honour of Wilhelm Haag’s passing in 2020, the estate have kindly produced a small number of double magnums for us which includes a photo and Wilhelm Haag’s name on the back label.
