Tasting Note:

As strong and driven as ever but distinctly more open and curvaceous in its youth than previous vintages. Dark fruit, undergrowth, sweet spice and mineral characteristics flood the palate. As ever a more brooding style of wine than the others in this stable but the texture is smooth and the tannic structure is fortifying and supporting rather than dominant, as can be the case in some vintages. A Bric del Fiasc of harnessed power. Bric dël Fiasc is Piedmontese dialect for Bricco Fiasco, the top of the Fiasco vineyard.
