Tasting Note:

Deceptively smooth and sleek but there is power here and a dense velvety tannic structure, ripe flavours of strawberry, cherry and plum together with savoury tones of wet rock and mineral, touches of pepper, sweet spice and richer balsamic shades. From a vineyard planted at 800 to 900 metres above sea level that benefits from volcanic, mineral-rich soils. The extreme day-night temperature variation of the microclimate lends this wine a subtlety, finesse and aromatic complexity, even in hotter vintages.
