Tasting Note:

This along with Chasse Spleen was the stand out wine at the Medoc, Listrac and Moulis UGC. There is a purity and definition to the flavours that is very suave. Many more illustrious names should take note, this is respectful to the vintage and as a result, it is harmonious and dare we say it, rather classy. A fine Cabernet bouquet of cassis and cherry jam - very classic. There is plenty of ripe fruit, great clarity of flavour and a brightness and intensity. This is a very successful effort and if it puts on a little fat during elevage, which it should, will become a very fine Cantemerle.
