Domaine de Chevalier, Blanc, Pessac Léognan, 2016

Tasting Note:

Gorgeous notes of sweet grapefruit, fine salt, citrus and peach emerge from the glass. On the palate this is a supple, charming effort from Olivier Bernard, neither his nor the vintage’s raciest efforts, but one sure to give good near-to-mid-term pleasure. Delivered with the gentlest of hands, a wine of texture and caress over racy line. 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon from a 5 hectare plot.
