Nuits St Georges, Les Pruliers, 1er Cru, 2021

Tasting Note:

Displaying excellent precision on the nose, more body here than the Combe d’Orveaux before, with a certain brooding power but also lovely high-definition fruit. There’s a concentration here that provides an intensity while the tannins play gently in the background. A textbook Nuits fruit set too, with darker savoury notes amongst the fruit. Extremely good. Les Pruliers, one of the unsung heroes of Nuits St Georges situated on the south side of the appellation, yields classic, complete Nuits that combines power, freshness, richness and minerality.
