Dynamic and forceful but with a different kind of strength to the Bâtard. A wiry, toned muscle drives this along and the fruit is taut. Notes of confit lemons and crystallised citrus with riper hints of quince. A coiled, tight-sprung mineral core gives this energy from within. Less well-padded than the Bâtard, perhaps, but no less persistent or energetic. A class act.
