Tasting Note:

One of the most consistent and drinkable Barberas we taste, year in year out. We love this for its roundness, fluidity and balance. Neither too green nor too rich, this offers direct, clear, juicy fruit. Notes of sweet plum with some redder raspberry notes and tangy rock salt overtones wash effortlessly across the palate. Plump and smooth without the heaviness that ripe Barbera can sometimes betray, this is generous and easy to enjoy. From south facing limestone vineyards. The wine undergoes a very short fermentation followed by ageing in Slavonian oak casks for 3 months, and then a further 6 months in steel tank before bottling.
