    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

In 2018 Roberto decided they would only employ Grand Crus for the Barolo Comune di La Morra, raising the quality but sadly reducing the volume. The 2019 picks up where the 2018 left off, with an array of bright supple red fruits and citrus notes. A good compact core laced with fine herbs and quite firm crunchy tannins. Roberto has reduced yields on this wine further from 1kg to just 700g per vine. A blend of plots from La Serra, Fossati, Case Nere and Cerequio. Aged for two years in a mix of big and small barrels, light toast, French oak (15, 20, 30 and 35 HL sizes for the big barrels.)
