Tasting Note:

The aromas are of struck flint and mineral and the palate retains this minerality and offers a lot more besides; wonderful buttery peach, touches of caramelised nectarine and citrus peel; long, intense, sophisticated and complex. This will be bottled spring 2013 after ageing in a demi muid barrel. A glorious 100% barrel-fermented Marsanne from a parcel in the clay limestone Maison Blanche vineyard planted in 1944.
