As brooding, deep and dark as ever. Tight-wound but incredibly intense and very complex, notes of bramble, earth mineral and undergrowth. A serious wine that merits a good deal of bottle age. One of the great vineyards of Nuits that often rivals Les St. Georges, above which it sits directly, albeit in a more brooding and muscular style.
